All Lycaeum students receive discounted or even complementary access to weekly lessons, designed to add to their enjoyment of learning an instrument all while providing a comprehensive education in a variety of musical areas.

  • Courses held on a weekly basis during term-time.

Online Lessons

At Lycaeum, we believe in making music accessible and affordable. Our online courses are designed for convenience, not only allowing you or your child to learn from anywhere with internet access, but beginning at £14 a session – we offer the most affordable lessons in the UK for high-quality teaching!

Lycaeum’s tutors provide a bespoke learning experience to help our students attain their goals. Online students have full access to the resources and events that we offer, including bi-annual concerts, competitions and a discount on our group courses. You can find out more here.

The most accessible way to learn an instrument!

Lessons at Home

While learning an instrument through our online sessions is perfectly viable, our private at home lessons cost from only £36/session, inclusive of travel – providing an even more detailed and guided learning experience for you or your child.
 
Our tutors will work around your needs, providing lessons at any reasonable time to suit your schedule.
 
All at home lessons are fully amendable, with only a 24hr notice period being required! Pay per lesson or book in advance for a discounted fee.

Events, competitions, and concerts

Here at Lycaeum we aim to offer our students not just regular good quality instrumental tuition, but also an avenue to experience one of the best things about learning to to play – making music with others and performing.

We even have a musical double decker bus where our students can have workshops and concerts across London!

In a regular school year we offer: monthly group workshops in various parts of London, two concerts – where our students can showcase their progress in front of their friends and family, and two internal competition with cash prizes to give our students something to work towards alongside regular ABRSM exams. We keep music exciting!
