While a rewarding experience, learning an instrument takes a lot of effort and discipline — it’s important for students to receive recognition for their hard work… and to show off in front of an audience! Our live events occur twice a year, in the summer and during the festive period. They’re an opportunity for students to play in front of their fellow students and family, gaining essential experience performing live, under the guidance of our tutors.
Individual performances are mixed with fun group activities, including games and sing-alongs which help make the event a great time for everyone. At the end of the concert, students a certificate to acknowledge their performance and their learning to date.
(Lycaeum is committed to making music accessible to everyone. If the price of the event means your child would be unable to attend, please contact us and we discuss a price reduction or a waiver).
